Essex Paving are tarmac specialists working throughout Essex. Tarmac is a cost-effective surfacing solution which, when properly laid, not only looks great, but is built to last. We take as much care with the sub base, the bit you can’t see, as we do with the finished surface. The depth of the sub-base is laid to at least 150mm thick with the wearing course laid to at least 25mm thick when rolled, to be able to take the weight of vehicles and prevent the driveway from sinking under parked vehicles. That way, your tarmac driveway will still look great for many years to come. We can also use block edgings to create an attractive feature for your driveway.
